Or just having a crappy day and want to bake a delicious something to cheer yourself up? Haha perhaps you don’t know what I’m talking about cause you don’t tend to eat all your emotions.. BUT anyone who feels me out there, THIS ONE’S FOR YOU!
Various adaptations of these protein bites are all over the internet, and I have tried a bunch of varieties that are great! And I mean it could just be my passionate, deep, never ending love for cookie dough speaking.. but I’m fairly confident that THESE ONES ARE THE BEST! Not to toot my own horn or anything. Without further ado I bring you my…
Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Protein Bites!
- 1 cup almond butter
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 1 Tbs unsweetened almond milk
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1/2 cup chocolate bits
Yields about 26 balls.
Mix all ingredients together except oats and chocolate. Mix in oats gradually, then fold in chocolate chips. Roll into Tablespoon sized balls, then refrigerate for about an hour to let set. (Or just eat 3 of them right away cause they are THAT good.) Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge. Total prep time is about 10 minutes!
That’s right. If you go make them RIGHT NOW you can be enjoying guilt free cookie dough deliciousness in under ten minutes.
I like to make a batch and keep them on hand for when those mid week cravings hit. And they are actually super rich, so honestly I’m usually satisfied just enjoying one!
