YOU GUYS! First of all I apologize for seriously slacking on my posting lately. I finished up my huge interior design project though just before we left for the UK, so now I will have much more time! :)

I will share the photos from our shoot in other posts, as well as a post about fitness tips while traveling. For now though I just want to share a little bit about our adventures, along with a sort of photo-diary with a smattering of classic touristy photos from my phone. :)

So in January the founders of ADANOLA reached out and asked if I would be interested in working with them to help launch their new line! Before I even knew it would involve going to the UK, I said UMM YESSS! Because I SERIOUSLY LOVE this brand. They are one of the first companies I ever promoted on my instagram account, and through alllllll the different labels I have tried, they have remained one of my very faves. Their pieces are QUALITY- they perform amazingly well, hold up great over time, and are perfectly my style. Once I saw the from the new range I was 100% sold.

Flash forward four months later, and Ryan and I were off to the UK! The first three days we spent at the Body Power Expo in Birmingham. It was a really neat experience to be there, but hands DOWN the best part about those days was getting to meet so many of my BBG sisters from the UK, as well as every person on the ADANOLA team that I got to work with. If I wasn’t obsessed with the brand before, I definitely am now. Every single person that is part of that company is simply amazing- especially the founders Hyrum and Josh Cook. (Brothers! How cool is that?!)

After the Expo we headed to Manchester where ADANOLA is based. I got to meet the designer, hang with the whole team, and do some touristy stuff as well. Ry’s fave thing was attending a Manchester United soccer game, and mine was visiting the perfectly preserved, historic Tatton Park! Our hotel was lovely, and we were smitten with the whole city really. I absolutely loved the historic buildings and modern architecture all intertwined. It was such a blast exploring everywhere and eating everything! :)

This cool bridge was literally right out the front door of our hotel.

After spending a few days in Manchester, we took the train (my first real train ride ahah) to LONDON! You guys. MIND BLOWN. If you would have asked me prior to this trip what European city I wanted to visit, London probably would have been last on my list. I don’t know why, but I just never thought much of it. Well Ryan and I both were absolutely smitten. It really is the most beautiful, unique place I have ever seen and I could not get enough of it! The accents, the people, the food, the beauty, the HISTORY, the creativity, the diversity, everything. We stayed at the most beautiful hotel that was so homey!

The first day in London we spent doing all of the touristy things and I loved every minute. The next day we had our big photo shoot and it was SO MUCH FUN!! It felt more like hanging out with great friends than work, because that’s really what it was! Literally we just spent four hours exploring London on foot and stopping to snap pics along the way. The photographer, Sam Pyatt, is amazingly talented and made my job easy.

Friday evening we held a PR event to kick off their pop-up shop, and Saturday I spent the morning hanging out at the store and again getting to meet so many more incredible women!! It was so much fun getting to know some of my “fit fam” in the UK- I honestly felt like I was hanging out with old friends.

I am obsessed with him. :)

When it comes down to it, it is all about people. I feel SO beyond blessed for all we got to do and see, but mostly for the people we got to meet. My biggest regret is taking photos with all of you on dumb snapchat and not on my camera! I forgot to save most my stories so basically I’m heartbroken. Lesson Learned! Really though- to each of you who came to see me at the expo or pop-up, I LOVE YOU. Truly. Thank you for your sincerity and kindness. I feel beyond blessed to have met you and am so humbled by your stories and love. Thank you for encouraging me and inspiring me. And again, I cannot speak highly enough of the ADANOLA team. These are people with exceptional morals, kindness, generosity, creativity, and passion. We went to work together, and left as life-long friends.

As I mentioned, I am compiling a post about my fitness tips while traveling, so if you have any specific questions about that please let me know! :)
