When connected to a mac via usb, can the volume on the rca outs be controlled via the os x? So, do you happen to know what the opamp is behind the RCA outs?
The D1 is a nice looking unit, so I will still keep it on the list for now. As long as the audioengihe can pass the data quickly enough then it makes no difference.
