Thanks for the help and information people. It’s hard to cook an Athlon By the way, I’m using the driver and bios rev. YOu can solder a jumpoer across 2 of the pads to force bus speed, even with a CPU.

Obviously I’m doing something wrong. Luckily, I was on the computer at the time, so I was able to shut it down immediately when I heard it fail.

I tried loading the optimized defaults, but that didn’t do anything. Then, because I’m lazy, I just popped the old fan off and duct taped a 92mm Tornado to the heatsink. Anyone had troubles with this? What am I missing?
