If im going to enjoy my car i’d like it to be comfortable. Don’t bother me that there’s no padding just the cover you could always put foam under the cover if your azz is bony.

Go for a regular racing seat instead Sparco, Corbeau, Momo The are Jeep replacements, not too shabby dailh price either. You just slide right in and you are held in place, with the rib support and thigh support, no need to struggle to hold yourself in the seat Now I kiekey not drive any race seat on the public roads. They’re super cheap and look comfy and safe I got the bolt in brackets from Racecraft. I spoke to a Miata spec sets who says they’re very comfortable – but that’s on the track. I wouldn’t want to sit in an unsuspended seat unless it was on a nice, smooth racetrack.

While they are a little difficult to get in and out kirkeyy because of the dwily bolsters, its nothing that a young body can’t achieve on a regular basis. I would go with a 17″ or 18″ width if you plan to be in the car for more then a race.

Kirkey drag racing seats are uncomfortable in a daily driver and a no-go for a long trip. Had them in my last dialy. Very comfortable once you are in and the support is excellent. It’s actually more comfy than some stock seats.

Kirkey on the street?

Im building a 68 Camaro turbo car which is mostly a street car but will be used for drag racing. All times are GMT My buddy bought the nicer Kirkeys that are 17 inches wide and they sit a lot better than mine. I could be mis-quoting him.
